Ivin’s Heart Murmur will be Treated

Ivin is a four year old boy from a rural Mayan community located in the mountains of Guatemala, near the city of Quetzaltenango. As you can see, he is a typical four year old that is full of energy and loves to play!

During the Butler University medical trip to Ivin’s community in May, this young boy was diagnosed with a heart murmur that could indicate a congenital heart defect. In most circumstances, it would be very difficult for a family with five children like Ivin’s, which lives in such a remote location, to obtain the expensive healthcare services that he needs. But thanks to your generous support, Timmy Global Health is able to subsidize the cost of a cardiology referral for Ivin’s family and will help cover the expenses of any future medications or surgeries he may need.
